Andrew Turner P.Geol.

Principal

Andrew received his B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alberta in 1989. He is a registered Professional Geologist (P.Geol.) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA) and the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (NAPEG). Andrew has over 22 years of experience in mineral exploration. Prior to joining APEX in 2002, Andrew worked on a variety of mineral exploration projects, from grass-roots to advanced stage, with Noranda Exploration Company Ltd., the Alberta Geological Survey, Westmin Resources Ltd. (later Boliden Ltd.) and several junior exploration companies. Since joining APEX, Andrew has managed and conducted numerous exploration projects on behalf of a variety of clients, which included acting as Project Manager for the Committee Bay Gold Project (on behalf of Committee Bay Resources Ltd., now North Country Gold Ltd.) from 2003-2010. His industry experience includes exploration for and the evaluation of Achaean lode-gold deposits (northern Canada), intrusive related precious and base metal deposits (British Columbia and Mexico), Porphyry-style deposits (British Columbia, southwestern United States and northern Chile) and poly-metallic Volcanogenic Massive Sulphide (VMS) deposits (throughout western Canada and the United States).
