Batzorig Erdene BSc

Geologist

Batzorig received his BSc in geology from the National University of Mongolia in 2007. Batzorig has an extensive background in reverse circulation chip logging, diamond core logging, core sampling, data interpretation and geological mapping. Prior to joining APEX in 2022, Batzorig had over ten years of experience in coal, copper, gold and uranium exploration and production in Mongolia. This experience included a large-scale diamond drilling program for coal in western Mongolia (Gobi-Altai province), diamond drill programs for gold in eastern Mongolia (Sukhabaatar province) and uranium in central Mongolia (Arkhangai province), as well as surface exploration, including geological mapping, geophysical surveying and geochemical sampling for copper in western Mongolia (Gobi-Altai province).

Since joining APEX, Batzorig has worked on sediment and structurally hosted manganese deposits, LCT, sedimentary rock hosted titanium, VMS projects in Western Australia and hydrothermal quartz reef systems and Skarn Cu-Zn-Pb projects in the Northern Territory.
