Juan Jaimes MSc, G.I.T.

Geologist

Juan graduated with his BSc in Geology in 2020 from the Industrial University of Santander and with his MSc in Geology from the University of Western Ontario. He is a registered Geoscientist in Training (G.I.T.) with Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO).

Since joining APEX in 2023, he has worked in high and low sulfidation gold, porphyry copper, and orogenic gold deposits and his experience has centered on soil and rock sampling, core logging, diamond drill management, and technical writing in multiple settings and locations. Juan has field experience in remote locations in Colombia, U.S.A., Canada, and Suriname and has reviewed geological information from other locations such as Chile.
