
Karys Leonard-Fortune BSc, G.I.T.
Geologist
Karys is a mineral exploration geologist and health and safety coordinator for APEX. She is a geoscientist-in-training of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Karys graduated from the University of Alberta with a BSc in Honours Geology. Her work experience includes core logging, sampling (soil, bedrock, stream sediment, talus, core), prospecting (drift, historical prospects), and geological field mapping (small and large scale).
