Leland Chiasson BSc, G.I.T.

Geologist

Leland graduated with a BSc in Environmental Earth Sciences from the University of Alberta in 2021. Since joining APEX in October 2021 Leland has been focussed on working on geophysical surveying programs. He has worked in Canada and the USA on a number of different projects with junior mining companies looking for magnetic and/or conductive anomalies. He has experience collecting and processing data from HLEM, VLF and IP surveys, and acts as team-lead on projects training other employees how to conduct different geophysical surveys.

  • Training employees in using GEM Mag and Loupe TDEM equipment
  • Processing raw data from GEM systems and producing geological maps
  • Maintaining an efficient and safe routine for field work
