Project Geologist

Liana received a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Earth and Ocean Sciences with Honours (2011) and a M.Sc. in Geology (2017) where they constrained mineralization sources at Macassa Mine using geochemical signatures. They have been a registered Professional Geologist (P.Geo.) with the Engineers & Geoscientists BC (EGBC) since February 2019.

Liana’s technical experience includes over 10 years of work in mineral exploration ranging from grass roots soil sampling to advanced stage drilling and underground mining operations. They have experience in a variety of deposit types across Canada and USA including narrow vein-fault silver-lead-zinc, Archean lode gold, and Carlin-type gold. They have experience in 3D Modeling, GIS, QAQC, geological mapping, drill management, budgeting, employee hiring and supervision, reporting, and land management. Since joining APEX in 2023 Liana has contributed to clients’ projects, providing field work, planning, and technical reporting services.
