Kevin Hon BSc, P.Geo.

Senior Geologist

Kevin has over 8 years of experience in the mineral exploration industry throughout Canada, USA, and Australia. Kevin has worked on various deposit types and commodities such as epithermal gold-silver, carlin-type gold, porphyry copper – molybdenum, unconformity-hosted uranium, and carbonatite hosted rare earth elements. Kevin received his BSc in Geology from the University of Alberta in 2014. Kevin has a background in resource geology where he has acquired specialized knowledge of data acquisition, management, and validation, 3D geological modelling, resource estimation, and NI 43-101 reporting. As an exploration geologist Kevin has extensive knowledge of project management, program planning, drill management, field sampling, geophysical surveying, and remote location safety.

Recently, Kevin has been involved in planning, executing, and evaluating drill programs at Calibre Mining Corp.’s Gold Rock and Pan projects. Kevin has been involved in planning and executing over 150,000 m of drilling at both projects. Kevin has been involved in updating the geological model and creating 3D models for visualization and resource estimation purposes. Through this work, Gold Rock has moved into the Feasibility stage, and mine life at Pan has been extended.
