Bulgera – Western Australia

APEX has worked with Norwest Minerals (Norwest) on multiple exploration projects across Western Australia since 2018. APEX has been involved in the full suite of project management for Norwest’s Bulgera project. Rugged terrain, remoteness and high temperatures imposed considerable challenges at a few of the projects, but the exploration programs were completed to high standards.

The Bulgera Gold Project is located 200 kms north of Meekatharra in the +6.5moz gold Plutonic Well greenstone belt. APEX has provided full geological services to Norwest for the Bulgera Project, including project management, drill supervision, logging and sampling of 109 reverse circulation (RC) drill holes (14,711 m), 124 aircore (AC) drill holes and 7 diamond core holes (2,359 m) from 2019 to 2021. The RC and diamond drilling extended a new high-grade gold zone to over 500 m down dip of the Bulgera open cut and led to the calculation of an updated mineral resource estimate (MRE) for the Bulgera Project.
